The HR Coordinator is responsible for the management of the employee life cycle (including recruiting, hiring, training, rewarding, and developing employees), employment-related processes, and employment-related policies. The HR Operations subfamily is responsible for the creation and maintenance of back-office systems and processes to optimize data ease of use and to ensure compliance with local and state statutes related to employment. Produces and distributes reports related to personnel and benefits, and processing of day-to-day benefits administration. The HR Coordinator will provide clerical and administrative support to the HR staff. The associate level 2 role will provide human resources (HR) support to a major business unit or functional area. The role will work on assignments that are routine in nature, requiring limited judgment. Has little or no role in decision-making.

Expected Duties:

  • The HR Coordinator with a minimum of 2-3 years' experience will provide administrative support to the human resources function in the areas of HRIS/compensation/benefits, staffing/employment, employee relations, and/or organizational development (OD), and training
  • Expected to maintain employee files. Inputs employee personal data into the human resources information/computer system (HRIS) database
  • Responsible for providing information to employees on matters pertaining to their personal employee information
  • The HR Coordinator will assist in the processing of various forms related to documenting human resources activities such as new-hire, change-of-status, performance evaluations, benefits, terminations, etc.
  • The role will identify potential issues for further investigation by an HR Representative
  • Expected to maintain and expand current knowledge of Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO), affirmative action guidelines and laws, such as the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), and necessary employment records related to events, such as hiring, termination, leaves, transfers, or promotions, using human resources management system software

Salary range of $40,000-$56,500. [It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range.] The actual salary will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
