HR Project Manager
The HR Project Manager with People Analytics and Workforce planning focus is responsible for managing projects and programs that drive quality and consistency of HR data governance, education and ethics across the organization.

What this role is
We are seeking a HR Project Manager to lead our HR data management, governance and change management programs as well as partnering with key enterprise IT platforms and data analytics CoE teams in establishing a consistent data & access management framework, process documentation and a single repository for people related data & metrics. This role will enable Genesys to become more agile and responsive in managing our human resources ensuring optimal allocation against business priorities, anticipating future requirements tied to corporate strategy, and supporting our transformation into a data-driven HR function while ensuring appropriate data and process governance.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to partner closely with key business leaders within the HR function and cross-functional leaders including Finance, Corporate Strategy, and Business Unit leadership and IT. The successful candidate will be able to craft compelling, data-based narratives enabling senior leaders to make critical resource decisions. You have experienced and solved for growth at scale in the Technology industry, ideally in a Software-as-a-service company. You have ability to execute end-to-end program / project management strategy while navigating ambiguity.

Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Create the structure and lead development of a systematic and disciplined data management & governance process, using a design-thinking mindset.
  • Responsible for strategizing, planning, and executing initiatives related to establishing a people data dictionary.
  • You will have deep hands-on experience implementing and working within key HR and general data analytics systems such as Workday, Alation, and AWS, Databricks and Tableau.
  • You will help execute and drive a cultural shift at all levels to making data-driven people decisions.
  • Partner with key functional leaders within HR to define people related data concepts, data usage, definitions of critical data elements and business concepts across the enterprise.
  • Work with HR Operations and IT leaders to ensure data policies are documented, addressed, transparency, and accessible to others
  • Responsible for creating data flows aligned with customer lifecycle processes and working with IT to ensure that any data governance / business rules that can be enforced in systems are documented and system enabled
  • Work with key stakeholders to build data policies and definitions in the People Data Dictionary.

  • Serve as a change agent between the People Analytics team, HR Business Partners and other HR CoEs to ensure analytics capabilities and tools developed by People Analytics CoE is understood, adopted and leveraged in their day to day work.
  • Lead discussions and drive the business functions to utilize best practice for collection, usage, and data quality surrounding People data
  • Manage project scope to ensure commitments are achieved while remaining adaptable to changes brought about by evolving business needs.
  • Measure, monitor and report on the project performance against defined objectives and KPIs.
  • Set and maintain timelines for project completion and critical milestones to keep processes moving
  • Produce and deliver periodic reports to inform stakeholders and team members.


Basic Qualifications:
  • Education Desired: B.S. Degree in a data-centric field
  • 5 + plus years related work experience in data analytics program / project management
  • Strong change management background with a record of delivering excellent results in a complex, global organization with an effective track record of program execution and delivery
  • Hands on work with MSFT Excel, Powerpoint, SharePoint, Smartsheet, Workday, Alation, Databricks, and Tableau.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in process management, business process mapping, and data process work
  • Proven work aligned to business areas in Data Analytics CoE or HR preferably within the SaaS industry.
  • Knowledge of People data governance practices, Data Privacy practices, business and technology issues related to management of enterprise information assets and approaches
  • Knowledge of data related government regulatory requirements and emerging trends and issues
  • Demonstrated consulting skills, with change management concepts and strategies, including communication and culture change
  • Demonstrated project management ability to meet short deadlines and execute against competing or changing priorities
  • PMP certification

Compensation:
This role has a market-competitive salary with an anticipated base compensation range listed below. Actual salaries will vary depending on a candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and location. This role might also be eligible for a commission or performance-based bonus opportunities.
$68,250.00 - $141,750.00
