The positions will provide a clean and orderly environment for clients and staff at the Social County Mental Health Center located in Delray Beach, FL.

Housekeeping/Environmental worker

Responsibilities

Cleaning:

• Cleaning restrooms
• Cleaning all common areas, offices, and/or client rooms
• Cleaning break areas
• High dusting

Stocking Supplies:

• Stocking soap dispensers
• Stocking roll towel dispensers
• Stocking toilet paper
• Stocking coffee dispenser areas

Paperwork:

• Refrigerator temperature checks
• Office cleaning schedule
• Quality improvement form
• Supply requisitions for break area supplies
• Will assist with other duties as required

Physical Demands

• Ability to climb , balance, bend/stoop, and kneel continuously
• Ability to stand and or walk continuously
• Ability to carry up to 25-50 pounds of weight occasionally
• Use their hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls · Stand for long periods of time
• Kneel, stoop, crouch, or crawl
• OSHA Class III

Education & Experience

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• 6 months to 1 year previous experience
• 1 year or more institutional cleaning experience

2. Environmental Service Worker Maintenance II - $12.00 / Hr

Responsibilities

• Takes Leadership role among Worker I & II's in coordinating an executing team responsibilities

Business Supervisory

• Be able to delegate/ train other Team members.

Education & Experience

• Non-probationary staff with one (1) year SCMHC cleaning experience as a full-time Environmental Service Worker I
• Meets or exceeds expected level of performance on evaluations
• Free from written reprimands within past six (6) months
• Ability to supervise and orient Environmental Service Worker I & II’s in a leadership role
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• 6 months to 1 year previous experience
• 1 year or more institutional cleaning experience
• Preferred Two (2) years or more institutional cleaning experience
• Preferred Specialty training that enhances program functioning
