1.0 Job Duties and Responsibilities

· The purpose of this position is to properly keep production clean; this includes keeping the floor, lines, and any trash cans clean so that production can run efficiently. The role of the production floor housekeeper is to work in different areas of production to make sure it is all clean for proper production run.

· Will work under direct supervision of the Team Leader and supervisor.

· Proper use of the barrels to make sure the correct levels of water are in the barrel so there is no spillage that can cross contaminate any food products.

· Frequent use of squeegee to maintain production clean

· Help in the tote wash area.

· Help with the cleaning/ washing of the shoe covers.

· Help prepare sleeves and aprons that will be used by production floor employees.

· In this position employees are required to work with some chemicals; employee will require training to understand proper use.

· Applies basic knowledge of simple machinery. Employee executes tasks by hand, and may perform basic tasks involving equipment.

· Performs duties and tasks routinely.

· Maintains cleanliness of work area.

· Follows rules and regulations to ensure food safety, quality, and legality, (HACCP, GMP, Safety)

· Maintains and establishes effective working relationships.

· Effectively deal with and drive change.

· Ability to organize, prioritize and own multiple tasks while meeting and/or exceeding deadlines.

· The ability to learn and apply new technology, with the willingness to share knowledge with others.

· Fill out and accurately record quality and production paperwork.

· Understand Good Manufacturing Practices.

· Check to ensure containers are damage free.

· Other job duties as assigned by lead and or Supervisor

2.0 Education/Experience

· High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred but not required.

· Must have 3 to 6 months related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

3.0 Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

· Language Skills - Must be able to read and write clearly in English, bi-lingual a plus. Must have the ability to read and interpret documents such as operating instructions, and manuals

· Mathematical Skills - Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, and decimals.

· Reasoning Ability - Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

4.0 Physical Requirements

· While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and walk.

· The employee must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

· Employee must submit to post offer, pre-employment drug test and employment history check.

· Employee must be able to stand for long periods of time.

5.0 Equipment/Software Used

· Not required; will only need to train on production tools required by the position.

6.0 Work Environment

· Full time position

· Must be willing to work in refrigerated environment – Cold/Wet 38°F

· Must be able to work days, nights, holidays, and weekends as scheduled or needed.

· Must work in a professional and courteous manor with subordinates and peers.

· Open to work in a diverse work environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
