Housekeeper

With the demand growing at Griffin Club LA we are looking for personable, experienced team members to improve our member experience across the entire club and bring it to the next level. We are seeking fun, enthusiastic and creative individuals who are self-starters and have a strong work ethic.

SUMMARY

Housekeepers preform a wide range of housekeeping functions with responsibility for maintaining the appearance and cleanliness of the club. They are empowered to move about their assignments and do what needs to be done. Whether assisting members who are locked out of their lockers, stocking amenities, cleaning showers, or similar responsibilities, Housekeeping makes sure the space in the club helps create a great member experience.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES

Cleaning, assist opening/closing the club, assist with clean up after events, stocking amenities, assist with laundering/folding towels, reporting any maintenance issues or concerns to Facilities Manager.

DETAILED RESPONSIBILITIES

Housekeeping is responsible for cleaning the steam/sauna rooms, sinks, counter tops, mirrors, toilets, stocking towels, paper goods, sweeping, moping, taking out the trash, and helping members with requests.

QUALIFICATIONS

Very good communication and interpersonal skills

Willingness to learn

2 or more years’ experience in a commercial cleaning environment

Team player

High school diploma or equivalent

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to fingers, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel or crouch. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and distance vision.

While performing the essential functions of this job, the employee is usually indoors, in a controlled environment, and in some cases outdoors and experiences a moderate noise level in the work environment.
