Monarch Healthcare has several positions open for House Manager.

The House Manager is responsible for carrying out the day-to-day functions in the house. This includes securing the well-being and safety of the residents, assistants and reporting maintenance and repair issues in the house, the vehicles, appliances, and equipment. The House Manager is directly responsible to the Residential Director.

The House Manager must be able to write coherent and succinct reports and must demonstrate the ability to organize and properly document that which is required by regulation and by Monarch healthcare. The House Manager must also demonstrate an understanding of human rights and assure that the residents in the house are afforded these rights. The House Manager must demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of Monarch healthcare’s philosophy and demonstrate the ability to teach Monarch healthcare’s methods and philosophy to others.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Participation in the development and implementation of Individualized Residential Treatment Plans.
Providing support and guidance to the residents in the house to ensure the following: That the house, the appliances, the vehicles and the equipment are safe and in good working order.
That the residents are engaged in meaningful activities that address the goals in their treatment plans.
That the rights of each resident in the house are protected.
Supervising and assisting the residents with menus, food preparation, housekeeping, personal care, laundry and other activities of daily living.

Assisting with the management of behavior to encourage the best possible residential experience.
During medical, dental and mental health appointments, the House Manager is an agent of Monarch Healthcare and will exchange appropriate and accurate information with the healthcare professional and interact with the pharmacist to obtain medications.

Assuring that appropriate coverage is maintained 24 hours per day, seven days per week.

Preparing appropriate documentation and reports as assigned.

Develop weekly menus for the house

Create, establish, and maintain a weekly chore list for the clients

Monitor medications

Perform Urinalysis assessments

Provide overall care, support, and ensure safety of the clients

Perform routine room checks

Have at least 1 year of experience

Prepare meals daily

Coordinate and facilitate client’s social and recreational activities

Provide oversight to home operations and performing duties of home management, documentation & client supervision.

Assist with living skills, personal care needs and transportation

Communicating all significant changes and notable incidents to the designated supervisory personnel

May perform other duties as assigned.

Attending weekly management meetings to facilitate comprehensive program planning.

Minimum Qualifications (Education, Experience, Skills):

· Must be at least 21 years old (or 18 years old with an AA degree).

· At least two (2) years of college and/or two (2) years’ experience as a counselor working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
· A skill set that includes the ability to interface in a professional manner with Monarch healthcare staff, clients, and other professionals.
· Excellent oral, written and presentation skills.
