We're a casual and warm group of professionals, serving the best sushi in Tysons and 100% handcrafted ramen broths to our guests. We use high-quality ingredients, prepare them with care, and present them with love. We emphasize making the food look as good as it tastes.

We are seeking only 2 individuals to join what we call our Guest Services team. The team's focus is kicking off the guest experience on a positive note through hosting, answering the phone, helping with phone orders, packing orders, and distributing the orders to customers and to drivers. We will cycle everyone around so your job remains interesting.

Specific hosting experience NOT required, but candidates should feel confident in dealing with customers. Specific knowlege of sushi and Japanese cuisine is NOT required, but having an interest in the food will help you to appreciate your work.

What IS required is politeness, a positive attitude, and a smile. You will be surprised how these 3 little things puts everyone else in a great mood. We further rely on your genuineness and hospitality to help our guests enjoy their experience.

Details:

*$16-18/hr + shared tips from to-go orders ($ +2 to 3/ hr)
*FREE Staff meal or 50% discount for shift meals ordered from the menu
*20% discount for Friends & Family when you are present
*Minimum 4 hours guaranteed per shift - 20+ hours a week

For the first shifts that equate to 5 full shifts, we'll pay training wage of $14/hr. After successful completion of those 5 full shifts, the pay increases to $16/hr. After successful completion of another equivalent of 5 full shifts, the pay goes to $17/hr and you also enter into the tip pool, too. Those who demonstrate they can handle these duties and more will be candidates for futher pay increases.
