8 East, a Pan-Asian bistro, located inside the newly build Circa casino restaurant is looking for an experienced host/hostess to join the team. Qualified candidates must have proof of Nevada health card and legal to work in the country, and be able to work during weekends when called upon. This position is for part-time only.

Hosting and Running responsibilities (not limited to):

• Set up host station and menus.
• Control the flow of the restaurant
• Welcome, greet, and seat guests in a professional manner.
• Answer high-volume phone calls.
• Take reservations.
• Handle guests with or without reservations.
• Ability to recognize faces and crowd control.
• Bussing tables.
• Roll Silverware
• Serve Courses
• Cleaning and responding to the needs of guests, servers and bartenders
• Understands common Asian cuisine and its major ingredients.
• Develop a clear knowledge of the food and drink menu and specialty items.
• Standing in one place for prolonged periods of time.
• Learn different server sections and his/her maximum workload capacity.

Qualifications Requirements, Skills and Education:

• High school Diploma, GED (general education degree), and/or college degree.
• At least 1-year experience in a related field.
• Available during nights, weekends, and major holidays preferred.
• Able to handle high-stress situations.
• Must be 21 and older.
• Be able to lift objects up to 20 lbs.
• Have worked with hosting application in the past.
• Be able to assist VIP and high-end clientele without compromising the flow of business.'
