Village Manor of Cascadia is looking for a Hospitality Aide to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals in Wood Village, Oregon.

Village Manor of Cascadia is a long-term care nursing facility that cares specifically for individuals with behavioral issues, as well as their physical and medical needs. We are conveniently located off I-84 exit 16, in Wood Village. We offer great benefits, as well as very competitive pay.

Hospitality Aides have a great opportunity to explore the medical field of nursing through performing a variety of duties. Individuals will have the opportunity to explore career advancement though our Nursing Assistant to Certified Nursing Assistant program.

Position Summary:

Provides support and assistance to Nursing Department and staff.

Essential Functions

• Makes residents’ beds.
• Labels resident clothing and belongings, completes resident inventory of belongings list.
• Distributes personal and facility laundry.
• Passes meal trays and offers basic tray set-up.
• Serves food and busses dishes in the dining room.
• Transports/escorts residents to areas within the facility, e.g. dining areas, activities, resident care conferences, etc.
• Assists residents to interact with activity programming.
• Stocks resident supplies.

Other Functions

• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Maintains resident/patient confidentiality.
• Conducts job responsibilities in accordance with the standards set out in the Company’s Code of Conduct, its policies and procedures, applicable federal and state laws, and applicable professional standards.

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Licenses/Certification:

• None required.

Experience:

• Six months experience in a long-term care or hospitality environment preferred.
