Lanoha Nurseries is expanding the Garden Center Nursery Team to add a Nursery Sales Horticulturist to support the care and sales of our shrub and perennial collections. This position will be responsible for assisting customers with plant and landscape material questions in person and over the phone.

REQUIREMENTS

• Extensive horticultural knowledge preferred. Arboreal knowledge is a plus.
• Quick to learn new skills and able to prioritize and complete multiple tasks
• Must be a self-motivated, team player with excellent interpersonal skills
• Highly organized and detail-oriented, placing a high emphasis on accuracy
• Friendly and approachable demeanor
• Proficiency in MS Excel and Word a plus
• Work directly with plant production staff to manage inventory, restocking, and presentation
• Physical ability to lift up to 50lbs preferred

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide superior and professional customer service by creating a friendly and welcoming environment
• Maintain a clean and well-organized sales space
• Assist in unloading and organizing new plant material in Outdoor Nursery Sales department
• Collaborate with coworkers to design and merchandise outside Nursery Sales products
• Complete a wide variety of tasks associated with seasonal demands both indoors and out
• Guide and educate customers during plant selection and purchase

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
