Oneida Golf and Country Club opened in 1929 and is one of the premiere private country clubs in the state of Wisconsin. Created on 300+ acres of unmatched physical terrain, Oneida has experienced several renovation changes and irrigation improvements throughout the years making it a must play for all golf enthusiasts in Northeast Wisconsin. The course is comprised of 18 championship holes with Bent/Poa greens, tees, and fairways along with a fully automated irrigation system.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible for overseeing and maintaining perennial and annual flower beds throughout the golf course, clubhouse area (inside and outside) and pool/tennis area. Bed preparation, planting, weeding, watering, fertilizing, primping and end of season bed preparation.
• Maintain, oversee, and operate a 20’ x 60’ four season hoop greenhouse and possible addition of a 20’ x 36’ cold weather germination hoop greenhouse.
• Bed layout and design, working with vendors, ordering and professional interaction with members.

Preferred Qualifications

• Post High School education preferred but not required
• General knowledge of plant species and health
• Greenhouse experience preferred
• Flower bed design
• Working with vendors (ordering of product)
• Arborist background and tree identification preferred but not required
• Bookkeeping
• Time management
• Work independently or with others
• Communicate with other associates and club members
• General computer skills

  performed with exposure to warm and/or cool temperatures and/or icy conditions for short or long periods of
  time.
• Works on and near moving mechanical parts and is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and
  vibration.
