Our Brightstar Care office is looking for a responsible, energetic and organized person to take over our scheduler/care coordinator position. MUST have previous home health scheduling experience. Best candidates are very personable and effective communicators. MUST be organized and dependable.

Job Responsibilities:

• Coordinates and ensures the scheduling of client cases on a daily basis. This includes selecting the appropriate caregiver, communicating with the family or client on an ongoing basis regarding staffing.
• Ensures that all clients requested services hours are staffed with appropriate personnel
• Communicate new assignments and/or schedule changes to caregivers and clients
• Maintains an accurate record of caregiver availability and client plans
• Identify and address scheduling issues for clients & caregivers (i.e. call offs, no shows etc.)
• Work under time pressure and manage multiple demands simultaneously
• Provide Customer service/communication to clients & caregivers
• Works with appropriate staff to help resolve caregiver issues
• Manage inquiry calls from clients, client families, and caregivers.
• Ensures computer data is updated and accurate for client schedules and employee availability
• Ensures that pay rates are within the acceptable ranges.
