Job description
We are currently seeking a COMPASSIONATE Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) to work PER-DIEM for Arken Home Health located in the heart of Riverside. This ideal candidate will be working under the supervision of a Registered Nurse to perform various personal care services to meet the patient's needs. We are looking for CHHA's who will go the extra mile for their patients to make sure that their quality of care is what they are looking for. We offer flexible work hours and a positive work environment for our staff.
**MUST BE ABLE TO COVER CITIES FROM UPLAND TO SAN DIMAS AREAS** (such as Upland, Rancho Cucamonga, Ontario, Pomona, Claremont, etc.)
Responsibilities and Duties
The Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) is responsible for providing personal care services to patients in their homes under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. The CHHA will follow the personal care services as needed for the patient, including taking and recording temperatures, pulse, respiration and BP if ordered, reporting on patient's condition or any significant changes to patient, and meeting the safety needs.
Qualifications and Skills
- Valid CALIFORNIA State Certified Home Health Aide License (CHHA) *MUST* No Exceptions
- Minimum of one (1) year of home health experience preferred
- Required documents: Valid Driver's License, SSC/Passport/Birth Certificate, Auto Insurance, CPR Card, Physical from within 6 months, and PPD from within 6 month of hire.
- Ability to provide excellent communication/documentation skills
- Basic Computer Skills
Pay: $35.00 per hour
