Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide care outlined in the patient care plan and under the direction of nursing staff
• Engage clients in meaningful activities
• Transfer Clients from wheelchair, bed etc.
• Assists with ADL's (bathing, toileting, dressing, etc...)
• Assist with IADL's (meal preparation, light housekeeping, etc...)
• Provide companionship to clients
• Maintain a clean and healthy environment

Qualifications and Skills

• One (1) year of patient care experience in a home health care setting; hospice experience and working with Alzheimer and/or Dementia clients highly preferred
• Must demonstrate the ability and willingness to build a positive rapport with our clients
• Must be compassionate and caring
• Must have a working knowledge of basic medical terminology
• Must have reliable transportation
• CPR Certification preferred
• COVID-19 Vaccination Required

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
