CCRES is a non-profit industry leader working in partnership with the Chester County Intermediate Unit (CCIU) provide the highest quality educational and behavioral health staffing services throughout Southeastern Pennsylvania.

The Head Start Assistant will provide supports the children in the classroom and implements lessons and activities as directed by the teacher.

• 
  Available Center-based Locations: Coatesville, Downingtown, Phoenixville, West Chester, Octorara
• Schedule: 190 day position following school calendar year
  • 7.5 paid hours per day, will consider part time of 2-3 full days OR half day morning or afternoon schedule
    • Great opportunity for work / life balance to have the summer off!
• 10 paid sick days for those working full schedule
• Pay-rate is $19.74 per hour

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma. Willingness to obtain a child development associate (10 credits) in 2 years.
• Previous experience in childcare setting with the demonstrated ability to relate well to children - preferred.

(Clearances and TB current within 12 months)

• PA Child Abuse (Act 151) Clearance
• PA Criminal (Act 34) Clearance
• PA Department of Education FBI Use code 1KG6XN
• TB Screening
• Education Documentation - Diploma OR Official Transcripts
• Due to a federal mandate, proof of full Covid-19 vaccination is required for staff working in the Head Start program
• Due to a federal mandate, masks are required for staff working in the Head Start program, regardless of vaccination status
