The Lawton Family of Restaurants (Cappy’s, Cappyccino’s, La Fonda on Main and Mama’s Café) is seeking an experienced and passionate Head Baker to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate is a creative individual with the ability self-direct as well as work with others.

We are a locally, family-owned business and our full-service restaurants are some of the most respected in San Antonio. Since 1973, we have consistently maintained a reputation for excellence and warm hospitality. Join us in serving up the best breads, biscuits, cakes, pies, churros and more!

WE REQUIRE:

• Minimum 3+ years of professional baking experience

• Ability to successfully execute high volume, professional-level baking with excellent presentation and flavor

• Creativity and problem-solving skills

• Ability to be self-directed

• Enthusiasm and a strong work ethic

• Passion for food

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Professional attitude and appearance

• Maturity, intelligence, and kindness

• Bilingual in Spanish and English is a plus
