AHRC NYC is currently seeking Residential Managers for our Group Homes in Queens and Staten Island. The Residential Manager position has an annual salary between $43,773 - $46,408 with overtime plus a very generous benefits package including: FULL MEDICAL PAID BY EMPLOYER, dental, and vision plans; generous paid time off, 403B with employer match, tuition reimbursement and other benefits.

Position Description:

• Assumes overall responsibilities for the smooth operation of the residence.
• Ensures ongoing compliance and quality assurance with State and Federal regulations pertinent to the operation of the residence to which he/she is assigned.
• Provides direct supervision of direct support staff assigned to the residence under his/her jurisdiction.
• Collaborates with the management team to create a program of services for each resident, and assigns the tasks of each member of the direct support team.
• Participates in comprehensive service planning activities with outside agencies for each resident under his/her jurisdiction.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent Required, Bachelors Preferred
• Minimum of 2yrs. experience as a supervisor in a residential setting Required
• Knowledge of OPWDD regulations Required.
• Valid NYS driver's license for more than one year Required
• Must be willing to work flexible schedule including weekends
• Minimum 2 yrs. experience working with people with intellectual and developmental disabilities preferred

Our residences operate 24-Hrs a day. Days off are typically Friday/Saturday or Sunday/Monday.
