Group Benefits Customer Service Representative

Benetech, Inc. is looking for a dedicated Group Benefits Customer Service Representative to join our team. This is a full-time position, and the salary is commensurate with experience.

Primary Responsibilities include:

• Answering phones/emails/chats and providing customer support related to active employees and retirees regarding benefits and billing
• Provide courteous and prompt customer service to clients as assigned and requested
• Maintain a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward clients and team members
• Data entry
• Performing routine clerical functions such as data entry, scanning documents, copying, faxing, etc. as directed

The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience with benefit plans (e.g., insurance carrier/agency experience) or human resources
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
• Strong computer skills and ability to learn new technology and systems (proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, etc.)
• Ability to work directly with clients and their employees
• Ability to work at a fast pace and with multiple tasks.
• Ability to operate in a HIPAA compliant environment
