As a result of our continued success and growth, we are looking for a Graphic Designer to join our industry-leading in-house team of marketing professionals.

The Graphic Designer’s primary responsibilities will be to abide by and uphold Allentown brand guidelines in the creation of all graphic design materials required to further Allentown’s marketing initiatives.


The ideal candidate will have the opportunity to grow into more responsibility within the department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Report to the Senior Marketing Manager, Design.
  • Uphold Allentown brand guidelines.
  • Design and produce creative for marketing, communications, and advertising materials within Allentown’s in-house Marketing Department, including but not limited to:
    • print
    • digital
    • social media
    • sales and marketing collateral
    • advertisements
    • web graphics
    • sales presentation materials
  • Collaborate with all department team members to spearhead new strategic marketing ideas and initiatives.

Skills & Experience Required
  • Minimum 1 – 3+ years of professional Graphic Design experience; experience within life science and/or biomedical research industries a plus.
  • Skilled in Adobe Creative Cloud applications (primarily InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator) on a Mac; working knowledge of using templates and paragraph styles.
  • Fluency in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint and Word.
  • Knowledge of Google applications (Gmail, Google Docs, Google Sheets, etc.) a plus.
  • Knowledge of file prep/printing/pre-press processes a plus.
  • Well-organized, with a customer-oriented, deadline-driven approach.
  • Excellent communication and people skills, while maintaining flexibility and creativity in a challenging and sometimes resource-constrained environment.
  • Ability to stay organized, multi-task, be hands-on, and collaborate closely with direct team members and other departments
