Welcome to Walton Elevator! We’re a grain facility located in Walton, Indiana (13 miles north of Kokomo, IN) we offer grain storage and feed mixes for cattle, swine, equine, and poultry. We’re hiring a Grain Elevator – Feed Mill Manager who is highly motivated to join our team. In this role you will be responsible for purchasing grain from local producers and reselling the product.We offer a competitive salary based on experience and paid time off. Responsibilities Purchasing, selling, and maintaining outstanding condition of grain. Scheduling logistics of transferred product. Maintain grain dryers and storage bins.
Oversee a staff, providing daily direction, coaching, and monitoring performance. Respond in a timely and professional manner to customer inquiry and needs. Manage safely, legally, ethically, morally, and profitably. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, or other related field.
2 years of prior experience is preferred but not required. We are willing to train! Outstanding leadership and problem-solving skills. Ability to work well independently and in a team setting.
Dedicated and motivated to building a strong team environment. Valid Driver’s license and willingness to obtain a CDL.
