Masis Professional Group is hiring for a General Accountant to join our team on a Direct Hire basis!

FUNCTION

Support all facets of our Manufacturing business within the Accounting/Finance area.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Accounts Receivable Functions, Cash Applications-including reconciliation to bank reports
External Lock box
Credit Card Merchant terminal
On-site Deposits

Accounts Payable FunctionsCommissions-Calculate and process commission checks on eligible Sales
SPIFFs-process online requests, calculate payments, generate internal invoices, execute payments, and maintain vendor information.
Assist with year-end 1099 forms.

GL FunctionsUtilize PC and mainframe system to generate reports (Weekly/Monthly/Annual)
Assist with miscellaneous reporting requirements
Assist with Special projects within accounting/finance team
Assist with annual audit process

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Ability to solve complex problems, think outside the box and be creative with a positive can-do attitude
• Strong knowledge of General Accounting processes and procedures
• High level of attention to detail
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment
• Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal
• Ability to organize and prioritize work efficiently.
• Strong MS Excel skills (pivot, v/h/x lookups, macros)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $35.00 per hour

• GAAP: 1 year (Preferred)
