Looking for dedicated individuals with a flexible schedule during the week and/or weekends. This job requires social adaptability and quick thinking as every shift is different. Your role primarily is to guide people through a challenging escape room experience and provide support and assistance where necessary. Excellent customer service skills are welcome, as is the ability to work with a positive and energetic team of co-workers. Strong attention to detail, good memory skills, and basic computer knowledge are all necessary requirements to succeed in this job.

We are looking to hire as soon as possible and are looking for a long team member who will be able to stay with us past the summer time.

*** Once training is completed this position will take place mostly on the weekends with on call shift happening Monday - Thursday. This is a part time position averaging 15 to 25 hours per week ***

Preferred:

• Reliable Transportation
• An eye for detail, and a flexible work schedule
• Hours can fluctuate, so a second job may be necessary for some individuals
• Previous experience in Escape Room industry (or similar entertainment industry) is a nice perk
• 1+ year of customer service experience

Basic Duties:

• Greet escape room participants and check them in
• Introduce the room, including rules and story of the particular game
• Closely monitor their progress throughout the room, giving helpful and accurate hints where necessary
• After the game is over, debrief participants and take their picture in the lobby
• Reset the room for the next participants in the allotted time
• General cleaning duties (sweeping, mopping, office upkeep, etc.)
• Other duties as assigned by manager or supervisor

-MindGames Rockford - Rockford, IL

Cross-training at other locations may be provided based on need, interest, and availability.
