Teller Responsibilities:

Represent Westmark in a positive, professional manner while performing a variety of general teller functions. Provide exceptional customer service to our members while processing efficient and accurate financial transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, and the purchase of monetary instruments such as Money Orders and Cashier’s Checks. Accurately process cash advances, check order requests, and night deposit items. Balance a cash drawer daily with minimal errors. Provide routine information about the credit union, its services, products and policies. Identify financial needs and offer products and services beneficial to members. Make a difference in our community while participating in Westmark sponsored community events.

• Teller experience preferred, but not required - prior customer service and cash handling experience required.
• Accuracy in handling cash and keying transactions
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to use a computer and 10-key
• Excellent customer service skills and a willingness to be pro-active in informing members of additional products and services.
• Spanish speaking applicants desired
