About Us

Sheraton Portland at Sable Oaks is operated by Ocean Properties Hotels, Resorts & Affiliates who own and operate over a 100 hotels world-wide. Under the Marriott umbrella, we pride ourselves on a beautiful recently renovated space to which we host many events as well as our loyal guests. We are conveniently located near the Maine Mall and Target Plaza, both have Portland or South Portland Metro system routes which make for a convenient ride to and from work if needed.

What Our Team Needs

We have a wonderful team of staff that have a special hand in helping to create the amazing guest experience we strive for which includes, general administration, front desk, housekeeping, facilities engineering, food and beverage, and security.

We are looking for Housekeepers to help with our busiest times to ensure the most wonderful experience for our Marriott Bonvoy Guests! We are looking for energetic, passionate, quick learners, with the best attitude!

Shift: 5 Day Work Week (Saturday & Sunday are REQUIRED) Applicants needing any (2) WEEK DAYS off are encouraged to apply!

Morning Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Mid Shift: 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM

Full Time Base Rate: $20.00

What We Offer

The Sheraton at Sable Oaks offers a seasoned leadership, with our General Manager, Ed Palmer, who has been in the hospitality industry for over 40 years and specifically operating this location for over 25 years. We are a full-service hotel which means we offer a wide range of guest services including pool, fitness, very large meeting and event space as well a full-service, open to the public, restaurant. The City Farmhouse Restaurant, has been managed by F&B Director and Executive Chef, Chris Merriam, for over 35 years.

Physical Requirements

Moderate to heavy physical effort 90% of the workday. Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods during the day. Must be able to stoop and work from a kneeling position and perform repetitive bending, reaching and stretching. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. independently. Must be able to push wheeled carts and equipment weighing up to 75 lbs. over tiled/carpeted surfaces.
