Medical receptionist position in a busy cardiology practice. Schedules patients, collaborates laboratory results between the doctor and patient, collects pt information, co-pays and balances, answer phones. Controls the flow of patients being seen by clinicians and physician. Prepares each patient prior to physician seeing the patient. Keeps the office supplied with the appropriate forms needed. Maintains patient charts in electronic medical record. Completes the duties necessary to keep the office clean and presentable. Exhibits core values of collaboration, compassion, and teamwork. Responsible for achieving or exceeding patient expectations. Performs other duties as assigned.

Special skills: Learns, implements, and retains processes critical to the operations. Self motivated. Excellent people and communication skills. Willing and able to juggle multiple tasks on a routine basis. Competent with computer keyboard typing, Word, and Excel. Comfortable with navigating electronic medical records.

Core hours are Monday through Thursday 9:00 am to 4:30 pm. Able to work hours between 8:30 am and 4:30 pm. Occassional Friday hours may be available.
