What does the role entail?

The Front Desk Agent is responsible for creating an excellent first impression for hotel guests. They are responsible for guest registration, room assignments, and key control responsibilities. Previous front desk experience is preferred but not required.

• Strive daily to provide excellent hospitality to all guests and fellow colleagues
• Handle all front desk operations including check-in, check out, and billing
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized working environment
• Desire to become a beacon of hotel and local area knowledge for our guests, including knowledge of hotel activities, events, and special occasions.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule that will likely include evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Must be able to live the Hyatt Values of Respect, Integrity, Humility, Empathy, Creativity & Fun

This position is budgeted at $25/hr starting

Working Conditions:

• Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions (rain, wind, snow, heat);
• Must be able to walk, climb into and out of and operate a vehicle frequently, with occasional stair climbing.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time
• Must be able to repetitively lift, push, pull & carry up to 15 lbs., frequently up to 25 lbs. and occasionally up to 75 lbs.
• Must be able to twist, bend and squat frequently; kneel or crawl occasionally; infrequently climb a ladder
• Must be able to perform repetitive hand & arm movements, pushing and pulling and simple grasping frequently; squeezing, overhead reaching & fine manipulation occasionally.
• Must be able to perform simple grasping, fine manipulation, and repetitive hand & arm movements frequently.
