Jones Lumber Company is seeking a qualified and experienced Forklift Operator to safely operate our industrial forklifts in a fast paced, team oriented environment.Responsibilities
- Operate an industrial forklift in a manufacturing environment
- The ability to work in a safe and efficient manner
- Industrial forklift experience in a manufacturing environment (ex. Taylor 300)
- Forklift license considered an asset
- Good interpersonal skills and communication
- Ability to analyze and troubleshoot
- Enthusiastic, positive attitude
- Knowledge of the lumber manufacturing process would be an asset
- Knowledge of various material-handling equipment an asset
- Able to lift 50 pounds unassisted
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Ability to bend, stretch, twist, or reach with body, arms, and/or legs
- Ability to exert muscle force in repeated or continuous motion for long periods
- Ability to stand for an extended period of time
