Rainbow Companies is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Fleet Mechanic Supervisor to join our team. As a Fleet Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing our diverse fleet of vehicles and service equipment, including diesel, gas-powered, and electric vehicles. This is a full-time weekday position. We have three locations housing vehicles and equipment in the Twin Cities. We are located in Minnetonka, Burnsville, and Little Canada.

What You Will Do:

• Maintain and repair large fleet; including cars, trucks, small engines, and other specialty items
• Perform periodic safety inspections of all fleet items
• Determine required repairs using visual inspection, engine diagnostic equipment, and calibration devices
• Perform occasional on-site field repair
• Complete detailed work orders, maintenance records, and other required documentation
• Supervise Fleet Mechanics

What You Need:

• High school diploma or GED
• Class D or higher driver's license
• 2 years of relevant work experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2-year technical degree or 4 years of related work experience
• Ability to obtain a commercial driver's license within 90 days (test fees covered by us)
• Welding and fabrication experience

Physical Demands and Work Environment:
May be required to bend, reach, stoop, and lift objects; may be exposed to conditions including chemicals, the use of tools, and equipment. Safety precautions must be followed at all times, including the use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and other safety equipment. Must be able to lift 50 pounds at any given time.
