As a member of the Accounting Operations function and the broader Chief Accounting Office, the Financial Analyst - Accounting Operations plays a key role in ensuring the accuracy of Nestle’s financial statements. The position will work with one or more operating companies in the U.S. market and have responsibility for their shared service accounting operations. The position is a primary contact between the market company and our shared service provider, NBS.
Primary Responsibilities
- Operate as a key Accounting Operations point of contact for one or more U.S. operating companies
- Oversee or execute period end close (PEC) activities
- Prepare complex financial analysis
- Ensure accuracy of balance sheet through analysis and consistent follow through
- Review and direct work prepared by NBS
- Prepare and present various financial report
- Review and action global Key Risk and Key Performance indicators
- Monitor cost center postings for accuracy
- Approve intercompany billings related to assigned operating companies
- Safeguard internal control environment, including SAP role assignments and segregation of duties
- Oversee periodic financial reporting prepared by NBS to ensure timeliness and accuracy
- Support financial audits and compliance reviews
- Drive special projects that enhance quality and efficiency through digital transformation

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with major in Accounting
- CPA or similar designation desirable
- Minimum 5 years of experience in general accounting and/or finance
- Proficient user of SAP or similar ERP system
- Proficient user of Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Basic understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards
- Ability and willingness to embrace change and deliver continuous process improvement
