Job Summary
- The Avera Health (Corporate) Finance Partner serves as the finance liaison to Avera Health leaders by representing the finance interests of assigned corporate functions.
- Will work in coordination with finance leadership to help analyze and operationalize integrated system finance strategies across Avera Health’s corporate operations and collaborate on issues of importance to Avera Health leaders.
- Will ensure future financial strategies are executed in such a way that consistency of financial measurement, performance, accountability, collaboration across leaders, and comparative financial analyses are preserved.
- The Avera Health Finance Partner continually seeks to identify and report out on areas of opportunity aimed at scorecarding, cost savings, operational efficiency, service, support, and follow-up.
- Will provide valuable feedback that furthers continuous process improvement and the provision of high quality financial services to meet the unique needs of Avera Heath’s corporate functions and across all functional areas of the consolidated finance team.
Education and/or Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance, healthcare administration, or health care related field is preferred;
- Progressive and responsible financial management experience.
- Knowledge of health care delivery system and/or healthcare financial reporting.
Licensure/Certification/Registration
- If performing position from an IA based facility the following is required:
- Completion of Child & Dependent Adult Abuse for Iowa Mandatory Reporters course within 90 days of employment and every 3 years thereafter.
Work Schedule
- Day Shift, Monday-Friday; 80 hours every 2 weeks
