Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Field Installer/Repair Technician with experience in car audio installation and hand soldering to join our team. As a Field Installer/Repair Technician, you will be responsible for installing and repairing wired components on vehicles, conducting repairs to those installs in the field, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining accurate records. The position requires frequent travel to client sites, with approximately 60% of the job being in the field and the remainder spent performing soldering and other tasks as assigned. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working independently and possess strong problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:

• Install and repair equipment in the field, technical equipment, and other wired components.
• Perform hand soldering and troubleshooting to diagnose and fix issues with equipment and implement solutions.
• Communicate with customers to understand their needs and provide solutions to their technical problems.
• Maintain accurate records of work completed, parts used, and time spent on each job.
• Provide training to customers on the proper use and maintenance of equipment.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and timely completion of projects.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 2+ years of experience in field service or installation/repair work, including experience in car audio installation and hand soldering.
• Strong mechanical and electrical skills, including proficiency in hand soldering.
• Familiarity with hand and power tools and experience using them safely.
• Comfortable working independently and frequently traveling to client sites.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Experience:

• Installation/Repair work: 2 years (Preferred)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
