We are looking for someone to manage our farmers market booth on Saturday mornings in Brevard.
The position pays $18/hr. for the first week and if everything is a good fit, pay will increase to $20/hr.
The associate will pick up everything for the market from Asheville and then drive to the market location in Brevard to set up. We then meet again after the market to get the associate paid and for me to get the market items back. Hourly pay starts from when the market items are picked up in Asheville and we meet up again after the market. In other words, time driving to and from the market location is also time paid.

We are looking for someone who possesses the following:

- experience in a public-facing role
- is available Saturday mornings
- has a reliable vehicle that is large enough to fit a canopy and a couple of coolers (a medium 4-door sedan or larger, although a Prius also works well for one of our associates since it has a hatch).
- be able to work independently
- enjoy working with people
- be punctual and reliable
- be able to lift up to 30 lbs.

The job does not require selling, only customer service and a good attitude.
The products being sold are value-added foods (not produce).
