Facility Managers are the front-line support in operating our corporate campus sites and interfacing with Schwab employees. Facility Managers handle everything from reviewing building maintenance requests, food service, mail operations and much more. It’s fast paced, constantly changing and gives ample opportunity to solve problems and interact with a diverse group of Schwab employees and vendor partners. The Facilities Management teams support and maintain a best-in-class office and environmental experience for the firm. This position will be located on our Lone Tree, CO campus
What you are good at
Building and maintaining relationships with CRE Staff, CRE vendors and Schwab employees requesting services- Working on operating budgets and variance explanations with the Senior Facility Manager
- Providing guidance to service vendors responsible for completing repairs, upkeep, supply ordering and general services
- Managing facility service requests using the companies work order system to track, document and successfully close requests
- Preparing and processing accurate and timely vendor invoicing to ensure proper payments are made following the company’s disbursement policies
- Assist service providers gain knowledge of Schwab accounts payable processes
- Performing building and property inspections
- Managing janitorial and day porter activities including frequent inspections
- Engaging vendors during quarterly business reviews to ensure high quality service
- Solving employee ergonomic requests and bringing solutions forward to address their needs
- Partnering with CRE Strategy Managers on occupancy verifications
- Planning, and directing MAC vendors on employee and equipment move activities
- Assisting the Events & Conferencing teams with event support
- Deals with and provides direction to food service and vending service providers to ensure the best customer experience possible
- Providing direction as required to local mail operations teams on mail and package distribution or problem resolution
- Evaluating and managing amenity programs to include beverage and snack services, and other programs to support our One Schwab culture
- Managing small to medium size maintenance project on time, and budget
- Managing waste and recycling programs to help with our sustainability efforts
- Flexibility and willingness to work after normal business hours, on nights or weekends to complete work assignments or handle unplanned emergency situations
What you have
Education
- High school diploma or GED
- Bachelor’s degree preferred with focus on business, management, finance, or facilities management
- Facility management certifications and designations preferred (CFM, RPA, FMA)
Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of related experience in facilities or property management
Special Knowledge and Skills
- Solid computer skills especially with MS Office suite of applications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and be an active listener
- CMMS or other work order systems knowledge required
- Working knowledge of electrical distribution, CDs and some construction terminology

- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced team-oriented environment across multiple locations and business groups
In addition to the salary range, this role is also eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities
