Primary Job Duties:
As a Flight Operations Training Administrative Assistant, you will be the daily point of contact for the training department management, Instructors, Pilots, New Hires and other domiciles and departments.
  • Welcome new hire pilots to their dream career
  • Support for Flight Training Management
  • Assist Ground Instructors with classroom setup
  • Pilot Uniforms and Supplies
  • Maintain Classroom and Sim Publications
  • Mail / FedEx Distribution
  • Work with Training Coordinators with trainee schedules
  • Maintain Simulators and Briefing Rooms
  • Audit Training Records to ensure accuracy
  • Coordinate and build portions of pilot training
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor
  • Following training, flexible (but consistent) work schedules available
  • Main Contact at SLC FSI
  • Manage Rooms, SIMS, Supplies – QRH and QRC
  • Review and update supplies at remote SIM locations
  • Travel (as needed/occasional) to remote locations
Minimum Requirements:
  • Must be at least 18 years old and a High School diploma or equivalency
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Adequate typing (at least 30 wpm)
  • Previous administrative skills a plus
  • Work well as part of a team
  • Handle multiple tasks with a smile
  • Take pride in a job well done
  • Professional phone etiquette and interpersonal skills
  • Possible opportunities to travel for business to other locations
Physical and Other Requirements:
  • Sit and work at a computer for extended periods of time.
  • Primary work location is near SLC airport (this is not a remote position)
  • This position will be 40 hours/week one week, off the next week
