Immediate opening for motivated, team-oriented Veterinary Assistant or CVT/LVT with at least 6 months of hands-on experience in a small-animal hospital setting for a Part Time or Full Time position. Also great opportunity for animal shelter employee with animal handling experience.

NO OVERNIGHTS OR WEEKEND SHIFTS!

Daily tasks to include assisting vets during appointments, drawing blood samples, taking x-rays, administering vaccines, operating in-house lab equipment, as well as taking calls in regards to patient status.

The ideal candidate will already be working as an assistant or technician for a minimum of 6 months prior and have excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic and a hearty sense of humor. You won't be stuck just cleaning cages and mopping floors all day. This is a hands-on position for anyone who has a passion for helping pets. This is not a corporate position. We are a 2-doctor, warm, beloved clinic that is known for its kindness and low stress handling of our patients.

Must be at minimum a Senior in high-school, have reliable transportation, be strongly computer savvy and be physically able to lift 40lb, as well as stand/walk/kneel for long stretches of time. Pay/benefits/loyalty bonus to be negotiated based on level of previous experience and speed of availability.

Pay: $15.00 - $22.00 per hour
