The Corporate Third Party Oversight (CTPO) Exam Management team is responsible for leading and coordinating all Program review activities including responding to requests for information (RFIs), Program presentations, exam preparedness activities, and coordinating stakeholder engagement. The scope of work includes internal requests (e.g., Compliance/Operational Risk, Internal Audit), requests by a variety of regulators (e.g., FRB, OCC, SEC) and rating agencies as well as Lines of Business (LOB) reviews when the Lines of Business (LOB) request is specific to firm-wide Corporate Third Party Oversight (CTPO) Standards. As the Corporate Third Party Oversight (CTPO) Program is a global, firm-wide framework, you will interact directly with regional teams as well as Lines of Business (LOB) representatives, Compliance, Operational Risk, Lines of Business (LOB) Control Managers and a number of other stakeholders.

This highly visible role will focus on exam management activities while also supporting RFI delivery- primarily in NAMR region but also acts as central point of contact for the Program for regional Governance teams. This includes enabling transparency in exam schedules and status, developing metrics and management reporting, managing related projects and initiatives, developing response content and improving content delivery, communicate Program overviews via presentations, and preparing stakeholders for executive and regulatory meetings. This role is expected to deliver exceptional client service and maintain all related activities in an organized and consistent manner. As such, the proven ability to be an effective communicator, 'connect the dots' and take ownership is crucial.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Support exam related requests for information (RFIs) by collaborating with internal functional teams and/or cross line of business partners to meet target timelines for all deliverables, including regional deliverables as may be needed
  • Become a CTPO Program subject matter expert and deliver accurate, succinct RFI responses
  • Present on Program framework as needed
  • Act as point of contact for the management and coordination of RFIs, exam support and related meetings
  • Prepare Power Point presentations that includes key updates regarding active and planned regulatory engagements and an inventory/ summary of activities
  • Provide regular updates to CTPO management regarding the matters being handled, including, but not limited to, timely escalation and resolution of potential issues
  • Establish and develop effective relationships within Compliance and with LOB contacts, Chief Administrative Office (CAO) Reporting, Chief Administrative Office (CAO) Controls team Legal and Internal Audit

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
  • Five or more years of experience managing regulatory engagements in the financial services industry or related experience.
  • Strong organizational skills and an ability to manage multiple demands and changing priorities. Detail oriented, self-starter with solid prioritization, planning, and time management skills
  • Sound judgment and an ability to make decisions quickly. Strong analytical skills to conduct independent research, reach conclusions, and solve problems
  • Excellent relationship management, influencing, negotiating, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization and balance the needs of multiple functions. Experience working across Lines of Business, countries, and regions. Experience working with senior management.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills with an ability to convey information in a clear and concise manner that is comprehensive, accurate, and tailored to the audience
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and risk management processes and related controls is a plus
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and SharePoint skills
