Market Development Representative


*Remote*


The Market Development Representative is responsible for prospecting, qualifying, and generating new


sales leads to support the Sales Team. This individual will be a highly motivated, self-starter with a strong sales dynamic, able to identify and develop new business prospects from multiple sources, including inbound marketing leads and prospect lists.


Responsibilities


  • Initiate outbound prospecting, qualifying, and contact verification for services

  • Develop new business via telephone and mass communication such as email to introduce services to prospect and existing customers

  • Identify appropriate buyers within the target market

  • Provide feedback to help identify prospects’ pain points to help determine how the solution will speak to those needs

  • Build and cultivate prospect relationships by initiating communications and follow-up communications

  • Work with the Director of Marketing and Director of Digital Marketing to develop and grow the sales pipeline

  • Use Customer Centric™ sales techniques, process, and pipeline milestones to manage sales

  • Utilize Salesforce.com for contact management, opportunity tracking, sales pipeline management

  • Maintain compliance with company policies, procedures, and mission statement

  • Adhere to all confidentiality and HIPAA requirements


Requirements


  • BS/BA degree required

  • Minimum 6 months of successful sales and marketing experience

  • Technology products and or healthcare experience is a plus

  • Working knowledge of SalesForce automation or similar contact management systems is a plus

  • Proficiency with MS Office suite and other software applications

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong presentation skills both over the phone and potentially onsite at tradeshows

  • Good analytical skills

  • Ability to set and manage multiple priorities

  • Excellent time management skills

  • Self-motivated with strong organizational/prioritization skills

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
