POSITION

Life Alert is currently seeking entry-level Call Center Representatives to work full-time on our Swing and Overnight (also known as Third or Graveyard) Shifts at our Encino, California call center. No experience is required. We will train you.

COMPENSATION

• $22 to $23 Per Hour (depending on work history and experience)

AVAILABLE SHIFTS (working Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays required)

• Swing Shift (3:00pm - 11:30pm)
• Graveyard Shift (Overnight or Third/3rd) (11pm - 7:30am)

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Answer incoming emergency and non-emergency calls
• Resolve incoming customer service calls by following standard operating procedures; obtain pertinent information; make connections to appropriate department.
• General data entry; includes setting up new customer accounts, entering contact information and medical history, and other pertinent information

QUALIFICATIONS

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Minimum typing speed of 35 WPM
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Punctuality, organizational skills, and ability to multi-task
• Works well under pressure and stressful situations; exhibit emotional control
• Subject to pre-employment drug screening
• Subject to background check and fingerprinting
