The Engineering Manager for the Search Traffic Team is a high impact role that owns a critical part of the growth funnel: user acquisition through search discovery. In this role, you will design and manage Pinterest’s traffic acquisition strategy by building a sustainable platform to identify high quality content on Pinterest. You will grow the metrics impact of these teams, work with Product to set the content distribution strategy for user acquisition, and influence the company’s user growth strategy.
What you’ll do
- Manage and mentor a team of Fullstack and Machine Learning engineers, providing guidance and support to grow their careers.
- Design, implement Pinterest's SEO strategy and content distribution platforms to improve organic traffic and user engagement.
- Help develop and shape Pinterest’s user growth strategy.
- Establish a strong machine learning presence on the team.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, data scientists.
What we’re looking for:
- Someone who will shape our user growth strategy/SEO strategy, and help shape the product strategy for user acquisition.
- Someone who knows how to develop high impact, high velocity growth teams.
- Experience working on Growth teams or with SEO.
