Hours of operation are Monday-Friday 6am-6pm 10 or 8 hours shifts available.
Summary:
The Endoscopy Technician is knowledgeable of all instrumentation and scopes used during endoscopic procedures. Is responsible for the handling and processing of instruments/scopes. Maintains general unit supplies, ensures scopes are in working order. The Endoscopy Technician will assist with the set up and tear down of procedure rooms before and after cases.The Endoscopy Technician will be required to transport patients, specimens, supplies and participate in patient care as delegated by the Registered Nurse. Maintains and evaluates operations to assure compliance to infection control standards and regulatory requirements. Contributes to the company's mission and values by treating patients, visitors and staff with a friendly, helpful demeanor both in person and over the phone. Operates independently as well as cooperatively; maintains professional and effective working relationships with teammates; vendors and physicians. Must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to ensure quality and timely patient care.

Responsibilities:
EDUCATION
- High School diploma required
- Associate degree strongly preferred
- Certification Obtained by CBSPD within 12 months required
EXPERIENCE
- Two-year health care clinical experience in GI/SPD preferred
- Previous OR/endoscopy scope and equipment experience preferred
- Knowledge of regulatory and standards in sterile processing preferred
