The Employment Specialist for Foundational Community Supports provides supported employment and case managed services to FCS and ALTSA eligible clients seeking employment support. Client driven case managed services include resumes, job search, job development and retention services, which provide the best possible supports for sustained, equitable and gainful employment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintain knowledge of clients, their employment goals, jobsites, and case mgt. needs.
• Assist clients to assess and further their career growth and skills.
• Assist clients in obtaining gainful employment at wages at or above minimum wage.
• Conduct intakes, assessments, and career goal plans.
• Document data and notesto adequately show individual's progress toward goals on employment/ service plan.
• Travel throughout the designated work area.
• Ability to use assigned technology as directed in the community.
• Perform outreach to attract new clients and community partnerships.

Desired Skill Sets and Other Requirements:

• Personal transportation required.
• Be in possession of a valid driver license and insurance, including safe driving record.
• Self-starter, excellent time management skills, and proactive problem solver
• Ability to work a flexible schedule
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to perform CPR/FA as needed.

Desired Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
• One-year related experience and/or training working with people in crisis, specifically in employment services.
• CESP certification preferred but not required.
