Our company is seeking an Electronic Assembler to assist with electronic assemblies and subassemblies. In this position, you will work with electrical or electronic components, such as modules and circuit boards. This role involves following repetitive production standards, so we will consider any applicant with manual dexterity and electro-mechanical aptitude.

Electronic Assembler Duties and Responsibilities

  • Ability to read and interpret BOM’s, Work Instructions, Travelers, Blueprints, Routers, and Engineering Change Notices to include Engineering modifications and designs
  • Electrical Assembly of complex units where a high degree of problem-solving and extreme care, skilled workmanship, and accuracy are required.
  • Routes, wires, assembles, and installs electrical and electronic components in cabinets, electronics enclosures and on assembled machines to complete functionality of integrated components according to specifications.
  • Cuts wire to specified lengths, using wire cutters using soldering gun and hand tools.
  • Crimps terminal eyelets and lugs to wire ends, using hand or machine crimping devices.
  • Routes, combs, twists, wraps, ties, and attaches wire to terminal points, according to layout, using soldering gun and hand tools.
  • Conducts functional and continuity tests of electrical assemblies, components, wire harness, and plugs, using ohmmeter, test lights, and other electrical testing instruments.
  • Perform tests on finished products before packaging.
  • Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
  • Maintain a clean and safe workspace.
  • Complete other tasks as necessary.
Requirements:

Electronic Assembler Requirements and Qualifications

  • A high school diploma or GED certificate.
  • Basic reading skills. Must be able to follow directions.
  • Regularly lift 10-50 pounds.
  • Regularly perform repetitive tasks.
  • Regularly possess manual dexterity to put parts or pieces together quickly and accurately.
  • Mechanical aptitude and the ability to follow directions.
  • Wiring experience a must.
