Position Summary

The E-Discovery Project Analyst supports the E-Discovery needs of the E-Discovery department and the firm’s case teams and will help with day-to-day technical tasks that are completed on time and within specifications.

Principal Job Responsibilities

· Interpret instructions in order to accurately and efficiently complete tasks in a timely manner while being able to fluctuate and readjust priorities as they shift or become necessary;

· Obtain, examine and prepare client data for processing which may include setting up FTP access, downloading and copying data as well as normalizing and verifying data;

· Process and load data utilizing Relativity Desktop client and/or other industry leading processing tools, as well as ensuring processing exceptions are resolved;

· Able to edit (with text editors) and load delaminated files and/or load ready data sets into Relativity and other E-Discovery tools;

· Create and maintain workspaces, databases and user access;

· Report on active/inactive data storage and user license utilization;

· Troubleshoot and resolve technical concerns regarding user interfacing and back-end databases, particularly Relativity;

· Monitor and communicate with Project Managers on processing and data handling progress, milestones and problems that may arise;

· Prepare electronic document productions, including technical QC, adherence to production requirements and production deadlines;

· Maintain project documentation, files, data inventory and data disposition in project management database; and

· Complete and track database closings, including near lining, archiving and/or deletion of workspaces and associated raw/native data.

Core Competencies/Qualifications & Skills

· Must have high technical aptitude in Relativity Server and Relativity One Processing: Relativity Certified Administrator Required;

· Relativity Processing Specialist required.

· Experience in processing data and utilization of Relativity One, Brain Space, H5, ESI Analyst and Nuix is a must, as well as other litigation support software;

· Familiarity with local and remote forensic collection tools and techniques, including forensic analysis products such as Encase, FTK, Axiom and Cellebrite;

· Familiarity with iOS and Android collection and examination;

· Familiarity with handling encryption (FileVault, BitLocker, Credant, Veracrypt);

· Solid understanding of all Microsoft Office applications, basic UNIX, Windows, hardware, networking, O365, Google Business, Slack exports and experience with SQL databases;

· Must possess excellent client service mentality and be able to communicate with all professional levels;

· Must be organized, able to monitor and effectively record and report progress or delays on multiple and concurrent processes by exhibiting excellent follow through, professional communication, and attention to detail;

· Availability to work extended hours, as needed;

· Must be able to take direction, work well in a team-based environment as well as self-motivate to work independently when required;

· Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills;

· At least five years’ experience in the litigation field working in a professional services environment with significant working knowledge and understanding of the EDRM and ESI life cycle and related industry standards, as well as forensic data collections;

· Obtain, and remain current on, professional and software certifications; and

· Must have flexible attitude and be interested, engaged and keen to contribute with a high degree of professionalism.

Education & Certifications

· Bachelor’s degree is required.

· Relativity Certified Administration required.
