Job Summary

We are currently hiring an Onsite Supervisor, Drivers Canton team, and our ideal candidate will possess a passion for impacting lives and our community. The primary purpose of this position is to work primarily onsite at a customer’s facility and may be responsible for a branch supported on-site account where recruiting occurs in the branch.

Essential Duties

Your Day-to-Day Leadership includes Activities such as these:

  • Build and maintain good relationships at all levels of the customer’s organization and deliver exceptional service by ensuring by handling all customer service inquiries, concerns, issues, and ensuring consistent quality.
  • Works with the customer’s team to coordinate and forecast staffing requirements.
  • Facilitate new hire orientations and pre-training with temporary staffing employees for proper transition to assignment.
  • Manage and oversee daily timekeeping process and reconciliation of time to ensure payroll and invoice accuracy.
  • Complete daily, weekly, and monthly reporting on key performance indicators and uses the information to communicate with the customer and identify areas for improvement.
  • Counsels’ temporary employees relative to attendance, productivity, and overall job performance.
  • Maintain compliance to Staffmark Drivers operations, systems, and employee records. Ensure compliance to the contract between the customer and Staffmark Drivers for background checks, drug screening, billing, and any other terms outlined in the agreement.
  • Support Staffmark Drivers Safety requirements and participate in the customer’s safety program. Verifies that employees follow safety policies and any PPE requirements. Conducts accident review, investigations, and report of injury with Staffmark Drivers and customer safety department as needed.
  • Implement employee programs and activities to improve KPI performance such as absenteeism and turnover.
  • Ensure all drivers meet Staffmark Drivers and customer license and MVR requirements.
  • May operate customer vehicles and perform road testing of candidates.

Excellent written and oral communication skills, be customer-service oriented, proven, strong organizational skills. An ability to effectively prioritize in a multi-task environment and work under pressure. The ability to motivate, coach and constructively critique front-line administrative level employees and supervisory employees. Intermediate skills in the use of Microsoft Office products (Word and Excel). Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Business, or a related field; or at least 3 years of equivalent experience, 3-5 years of previous work within a staffing company or in customer service and 2 years or more experience supervising 50 employees or more in a metric driven environment.
