Driver – Applegreen USA Operations

Role introduction:

Applegreen USA is in a rapid growth phase and is seeking to recruit a Driver. The successful candidate will be a confident people person who can fit into Applegreen seamlessly and adopt a hands-on approach to their role. This role an hourly, non-exempt position and typically reports to Multi Unit Operations Manager depending on local requirements and forms part of the Applegreen USA Operations team.

The Driver is primarily responsible for transporting team members from locations to locations within a specified local geographic location. Additionally, you may be asked to transport supplies, equipment or assist with other duties at the locations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Transport team members from location to location in a professional courteous manner
• Follow all security and safety procedures established by Applegreen
• Adjust transportation route to accommodate local driving conditions
• Report any accidents, injuries, and vehicle damage to management
• Complete vehicle safety checklists
• Ensure overall cleanliness of the vehicle interior
• Perform all other tasks as assigned by management
• Must follow all Covid-19 policies and procedures

Required qualifications and experience:

• Requires a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Requires a minimum of 1 year driving experience
• Must be a minimum of 25 years of age
• Requires an ability to interact with team members and the public in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing personality
• Requires the ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and policy documents, as well as converse comfortably with customers
• Requires the ability to drive a passenger van safely
