1. Responsible for outstanding service & satisfied guests. 2. Ensure each restaurant meets standards for speed of service, food safety and cleanliness and receives a passing REV grade. 3. Make sure equipment is maintained in excellent working condition. 4. Maintain a safe working environment. 5. Grow sales and meet expense and G&A budgets. 6. Meet positive food & labor variance and take appropriate action to improve results. 7. Recruit & hire management team members and ensure all restaurants have proper staffing levels. 8. Work all shifts (breakfast, lunch, dinner, late night & weekends) each period. 9. Set an example by maintaining an excellent working knowledge and high level of proficiency in BK restaurant operations. 10. Responsible for training all management personnel and ensuring team members complete GURU training as required. 11. Ensure checkbook spending is maintained and all invoices over $500 are signed. 2 12. Personally, verify food and paper inventory in one store each period and audit all restaurants at least quarterly. 13. Verify inventory net change each period. 14. Supervise in accordance with GPS values, traits & behaviors. 15. Communicate effectively with all levels of management about plans, progress, and problems. 16. Successfully implement all marketing promotions. 17. Participate in the development of company policies, standards, training, and management development. EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS: Required Minimum: High School or GED Preferred Minimum: Bachelor’s Degree EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATION: Required Minimum: 5+ years Restaurant Management REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS or ABILITIES: Must be strong in leadership, decision making, analytical & time management skills. In depth understanding of math and budgeting. Strong background and expertise in restaurant systems and management. Able to communicate effectively with all levels of employees & management. WORKING CONDITIONS AND GENERAL DEMANDS: Hearing and speaking to exchange information in person or on the telephone; seeing to read a variety of documents; may require sitting for extended periods of time; dexterity of hands and fingers to operate office equipment; bending, stooping or reaching to retrieve or store materials. While performing duties of this role outside the office, the employee is regularly required to stand and walk, talk, and hear to communicate with employees, and taste/smell. The employee is frequently required to handle, feel, and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb, or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is occasionally exposed to cooking fumes. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Able to lift/push/pull 50 lbs. Able to travel daily. TRAVEL REQUIRED: Will require daily driving 2-3 hours to one location. Some overnight travel may be required.
