Dispatch Manager (Service)
Nature and Scope:
Under the direction of the Vice President of Service, the Dispatch Manager is responsible for managing and leading the Service Coordinators within the service group. The Dispatch Manager ensures that H.B. McClure’s client’s timelines for service, maintenance, and repairs are met. The Dispatch Manager is responsible for ensuring that our clients are communicated with throughout all the stages of the Service Call.
Duties:
- Directly manages the Service and PM Coordinator(s).
- Assists the Service Coordinators with Scheduling.
- Trains Service Coordinators on H.B standards and software.
- Ensures staff is complying with Company Policy and conduct.
- Conducts routine scheduling meetings with the Service Coordinators.
- Monitors the WIP report to evaluate scheduling needs.
- Hire and onboard new Service and PM Coordinators.
- Attends Level 10 meetings for Service.
- Manages administrative activities for PM contracts.
- Work with sales to prioritize calls based on urgency.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, LICENSES, REQUIREMENTS, AND CERTIFICATIONS:
3+ years of management experience involving dispatch or logistics
Trade knowledge is a plus
Must demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication and customer service skills
Strong organizational skills
Knowledge of Microsoft Office
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
Must be available outside of normal business hour if needed
