Our Dishwashers ensure all kitchen areas are maintained, cleaned and all items are washed and stocked.

Position Responsibilities:

· Load and operate dish washing machine. Hand washes pots, pans and other items in accordance with the standards of sanitation and cleanliness.

· Thoroughly cleans dish machine by emptying and filling tanks. Ensures that curtains are set up. Empties grease traps and barrels. Checks rinse agent and detergent and fills as necessary. Promptly notifies Supervisor of any irregularities with the machine.

· Keeps dish cleaning area and floor clean and free from debris.

· Empties all trash in kitchen area and employee cafeteria.

· Correctly separates recyclable items into proper cardboard and bottles/plastic containers.

· Correctly places soiled dishes on racks in dish cleaning machine. Separates silverware for cleaning. Always washes silverware twice.

· Uses chemicals in proper areas and in correct concentrations.

Position Minimum Qualifications:

· Must be able to operate a dishwashing machine and floor machines.

· Must be able to speak and understand English; interact with guests and co-workers.

· Must be able to work in extreme temperatures; 0 to 110 degrees.

· Ability to work in a fast paced environment.

· Ability to accommodate a flexible work schedule to include nights, holidays and weekends.

Position Physical Requirements:

· Must be able to stand for long periods of time.

· Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.50 per hour
