Director, Web Analytics

Location: Remote, (bonus if located in Miami, FL or Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN)

As the Director of Web Analytics, you will be responsible for growing the end-to-end analytics solution for tracking KPIs on our Seekr.com site (both web and mobile apps). You will help guide our Growth Marketing teams with proactive channel mix insights to drive traffic and spend efficiency. You will work with the VP of Data & Analytics to implement best practices for data capture and create reports that are easy to understand and act on. Ideally, Adobe Analytics and Data Collection (formerly Launch) are two of your favorite tools and you have a passion for performance analytics, readily diving into the data to confidently say what is and isn't working. Though your main partner is the Growth Marketing team, you'll get to collaborate across the organization (Product, Engineering, Communications, Research, and Strategy) to share data- driven recommendations and grow data literacy.

Responsibilities:

  • Own site analytics for com web and mobile (Android and iOS)
  • Own technical requirements and design, documentation of variables, account configuration, and data collection mechanisms/code for all current and future product releases
  • Partner with Marketing to implement and continuously optimize a robust marketing attribution model
  • Build intuitive, analytically driven reports with Adobe Analytics for advanced analysis AND within Power BI for executive consumption
  • Conduct in-depth analyses of client clickstream/traffic patterns and marketing activities to uncover insights and provide direction on user experience and marketing efforts
  • Develop and present insight reports/dashboards focused on growing site engagement, improving campaign performance and clickthrough, and other metrics to grow Seekr's audience
  • Suggest ways to optimize and test marketing campaigns based on analysis and reporting
  • Perform in-depth analysis of website visitors across our pages to understand behavior and uncover key areas for improvement to drive reengagement and retention
  • Share insights and recommendations to business partners and leadership through presentations and other communications
  • Partner with our Research organization to structure user cohorts based on usage trends
  • Evaluate current reporting tools and capabilities to identify and implement improvements and changes
  • Collaborate with team to ensure consistency of information and reports, share best practices, and develop systems knowledge
  • Support necessary QA measures including testing and debugging
  • Over time help build out a team of high-performing marketing analysts

What we are looking for:

Tech Skills:

  • 7+ years of hands-on experience in web or eCom analytics
  • 3+ years of hands-on Adobe Analytics experience
  • Experience in tag management, Data Collection (Launch) preferred
  • Experience creating dashboards for both technical and non-technical audiences (Adobe Analytics, Tableau, Power BI)
  • Experience working with of DevOps, Agile, CI/CD teams
  • Fluent with Marketing Analytics KPIs (CAC, CLTV, ROAS, CTR, )
  • Advanced knowledge of SQL, JavaScript, DAX and Python is a plus
  • Knowledge of S3 and Athena is a plus Soft Skills:
  • Independent self-starter who embraces a team-oriented and collaborative approach
  • Experience in high growth start-up, agency, or high paced corporate environment
  • Experience in working on a cross-functional, service-oriented team
  • Ability to make informed recommendations to drive product and business growth
  • Highly analytical person who is comfortable and able to effectively communicate actionable insights to partners (internal & external) to determine, execute and report on campaign strategy
  • Collaborative mindset, with a blend of humility and confidence; consistently seeking feedback on how to improve and able to respectfully challenge others on the team
