Job Responsibilities

40% Membership Growth-Proactively engage with Membership product vendors and AAA National to introduce new Member products. Manage current products and support the implementation and execution of all Member services. Collaborate with department stakeholders to produce and communicate standard operating procedures. Ensure training and tools are planned to meet sales goals and Member needs. Contribute to Membership strategy as the Membership ambassador to the BI team for Membership reporting and analysis. Responsible for Membership forecasting and annual planning in alignment with marketing.

20% Communication- Develops and effectively delivers timely communication with reporting that drives Membership engagement and accountability for all sales channels.

20% Innovation- Proactively Identify and introduce product and sales improvements that improve efficiency, add Member value, and increase profitability. Collaborate with Club leadership to improve the sales and service process. Engage stakeholders from all channels aligning support to achieve sales and retention of Membership and Membership product revenue growth. Collaborate with the Business Intelligence (BI) team to consolidate and design reporting for sales channel teams to drive proactive inbound and outbound sales activity with individual and team level accountability. Support BI in the interpretation of sales analysis for sales operations and department leaders.

20% Leadership- Identify, recruit and retain top performing employees; manage non-performing employees in accordance with company policy. Manage with the intent to motivate, train and develop. Provide timely, constructive feedback regarding progress of work and performance. Make well informed decisions, demonstrate initiative, use sound judgment, exhibit autonomy, and execute.

Job Responsibilities

  • Strong Microsoft Office knowledge and PC skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational communication skills; specifically, the ability to communicate complex ideas and issues in a simple and straightforward manner.
  • Proficiency in sales leadership competencies: managing the sales process, pipeline management, public speaking and presentation skills, business development, and responsiveness.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, engage and energize a large team across Western and Central NY region.

Experience

Required
  • 10 year(s): Experience in sales or product operations; with at least 7 years’ experience in management.

Education

Required
  • Bachelors or better in Business Administration or related field
